How Lacrosse Works

Lacrosse has two goals on different ends of a field. The goals have circles around them called creases that only defenders can go in. Attackmen cannot go back across the mid-way line and defensmen cannot cross the mid-line either. A defenseman can only cross the mid-way line if a middie stays on his side of the field. This is called a (middie back). Lacrosse coaches usually have lines of different positions to go in. If a player from an opposing team shoots at the other team's goal and misses; than if the ball crosses the endline, whoever is closer to the ball when it goes out gets the ball. But if a pass crosses the endline, it becomes the other team's ball.
